Leros is an ideal destination for cyclists. With its gentle terrain and well-maintained roads, it has unique routes where you can enjoy admiring its natural beauty and historical wealth. One popular route starts at the port of Agia Marina and follows the coastal road to Panteli. This path offers breathtaking sea views and takes you through picturesque settlements. You can then head inland, passing through traditional villages and several scenic viewpoints. For the more adventurous, you can head up to the Castle of Panagia, which offers a panoramic view of the island. Along the way, you’ll come across old windmills, Byzantine churches, and small coves perfect for a refreshing swim.


Diving

Leros is renowned for its underwater treasures, which promise unique diving experiences. The most impressive dive spot is near the islet of Agia Kyriaki, where divers can explore the wreck of a World War II airplane. The ruin, a German Arado Ar 196 aircraft, lies at a depth of about 18 meters.
