The island is connected directly to Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” and daily flights from Athens take approximately 50 minutes. The island is also served by Thessaloniki with flights taking 80 minutes. The airport is located 5 km southeast of the port of Adamas.

By ferry

Milos has two ports: Adamas, the main port, and Pollonia. The Adamas port connects Milos to Piraeus, other Cyclades islands, the Dodecanese, and Crete. Ferries and high-speed boats run daily from Piraeus to Milos on lines such as Aegean Speed Lines, Golden Star Ferries, Minoan Lines, Seajets, and Zante Ferries. The Pollonia port connects Milos to the island of Kimolos.
