Valia Calda

Valia Calda is the only restaurant of its kind in the Meteora region that specialises in local cuisine inspired by the traditional recipes of the Vlach population from the Pindos Mountain range. For almost a century, the Gkertsou family has been serving up delicious Greek cuisine at their family-owned Meteora Restaurant. Established in 1925, it is one of the original restaurants in the area and continues to be one of the best. The restaurant gets its name from the village that once stood in its place during the Ottoman Empire.
