120 square metres of functional luxury. Fashioned in clearly defined linear style, this apartment, located in Thessaloniki’s Konstantinoupolitika district, offers conditions for comfortable and pleasant everyday living in every single room.
The Keystone Architects team has ensured an ideal layout that enables the potential of each space to be fulfilled.
Blissful setting
Natural materials and abundant light – which, in fact, creates an illusionary effect enlarging the space – combine to create a blissful setting, relieving the day’s stress levels. Without a doubt, this place was designed to offer relaxation. The choice of oak for a specially designed wall unit by the entrance, kitchen bench, furniture, staircase, and floor, plus the selection of white Thasos marble for the fireplace and bathroom, complete the place’s palette of earthly materials that rejuvenate and relax.
The balance of natural materials and earthly colours pleasantly contrasts against the black-coloured staircase railing, fireplace smoke chamber, as well as the double glass-and-metal kitchen door. It should be stressed that, in recent seasons, the elegance and sophistication of the colour black has been a favourite choice for designers, serving as an ideal choice for the creation of contrasts.
Design in accordance with comfort principles
The kitchen was positioned in direct contact with the living room, creating the impression of a unified space, while also ensuring the inflow of abundant natural light. As a space for the creation and preparation of culinary flavours, it deserved nothing less.
The objective of the apartment’s layout was to create a multi-purpose space. The all-white colour of the bookshelf blends effortlessly with the retro style of the fireplace, made with white Thasos marble and grey-shaded casting.
This apartment was designed by the architects based on comfort principles for pure pleasure and freedom of movement. The range of possibilities of its large rooms are evident. The lighting design, balanced combination of materials and colours, as well as the purity of forms all serve to create a hospitable space of lofty aesthetic quality.
