Two international award-winning homes in the Ermionida peninsula, eastern Peloponnese, have emerged as the first emblematic project by Everty, a premium real estate company that has made a dynamic entry into the Greek market with investments totaling 100 million euros.
Though the judgement of beauty is a subjective issue, these two properties – dubbed the Petrothalassa Villas – both in the small port town Ermioni, between seaside Porto Heli and the islands Spetses and Hydra, can, objectively speaking, be ranked among Greece’s finest. Their recognition on the international real estate circuit was established with an “Excellent Architecture” prize at the German Design Awards, high-calibre recognition. Designed by the architecture firm Potiropoulos & Partners, the homes are based on an idea giving the impression of constant rotational movement, while both properties feature an inspired combination of interior and exterior space and offer ideal-home qualities at one of Greece’s most charismatic locations.
Featuring a 500 square-metre open plan for their interior space, flooded with natural light, the properties also include a gym, spa and library, while their outdoor spaces feature a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, kitchen and dining area, as well as access to two beaches.
The Petrothalassa Villas are two perfectly functioning projects of curved design that blends with the region’s landscape, generally that of Argolida and the Peloponnese, comprising gentle slopes and rolling hills, which, as a result of the constant transformation, remind of a painting depicting waves.
As pointed out by Potiropoulos & Partners, “the architectural idea renders, at realistic and symbolic levels, the wavy character of the region’s landscape, and is also respectful of tradition, creating structural forms in motion, like large-scale stone carvings that are an integral extension of the natural setting…for an architectural proposal that can activate the senses and feelings. ”The Petrothalassa Villas represent the first project in Greece for Everty, whose portfolio includes properties around the world, including homes, offices and hotels. The real estate company has chosen Greece for a series of similar-minded projects of immaculate functionality and high-end design planned to be developed over the next four-year period.
“We are focusing on strategic projects in the hotel sector, modern offices that encourage productivity and wellbeing, as well as residential properties that make our country ideal for one to visit, work from and live in. Our aim is to acquire, develop and manage properties of all types, focusing on the sectors of hospitality, office spaces, and residential properties,” explained Nikolaos Roupakas, Country Manager at Everty Greece. “The development of our first significant investment in Greece, the award-winning Petrothalassa Villas project, began early in 2021. The two luxury houses are situated in Ermioni, a popular hotspot with a cosmopolitan atmosphere and a refined, relaxed locale. The villas face the south and are surrounded by lush greenery, natural rock formations and a magical coastline. They are ideal for guests seeking an oasis far from the noise of big cities, with all the luxury comforts, to enjoy dreamlike holidays at a charismatic point offering a superb view of Spetses and Hydra. They also offer a private marina enabling easy access to nearby islands as well as bays in the region,” he continued.
