In Livadi, however, the atmosphere is different; the ski resort just a stone’s throw away, impressive resorts and charming guest houses, alternative accommodation, large imposing taverns with large fireplaces, offering the typical cuisine of the region based on meat and poultry in a luxurious setting, beautiful houses with expensive jeeps parked outside (yes, they still exist), a peaceful landscape next to the forest. Heading towards the villages on the back side of Mount Parnassus (Agoriani, Polydroso, Gravia etc.), one has to pass through Livadi.
Last but not least, whether we are talking about the village of Arachova or Livadi, prices vary. It’s a great advantage that when it comes to accommodation you will definitely find a nice place to stay, choosing between prices starting from 60 euros in a nice guest house and going up to more than 500 euros for an exclusive suite in a luxury resort. Located on the square of the same name, just two minutes away from the heart of the village, the stone-built two-storey guest house “Afanos” features 10 beautiful rooms in earthy colours. Housed in a stone-built three-storey building a few minutes from the village, this warm and tasteful guest house consists of elegant rooms – some of which have a fireplace- and a few maisonettes. Located 700 m from the point where the village ends on the road to Delphi, a comfortable hotel boasts large rooms with classic décor, dark wood furniture, wooden floors, large bathtubs, balconies offering stunning views of the famous ancient olive grove of Delphi and calm vibes.
