From Friday 6 August at 06:00 am, a curfew will be in force from 01:00 am to 06:00 am –only those going to and from work or to hospital will be allowed out- and a 24-hour music ban across all food and drink outlets.
According to an announcement by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection:
Following the recommendation of the Subcommittee of Infectious Diseases and the National Committee for the Protection of Public Health against Covid-19, as part of the epidemiological surveillance of the country per Regional Unit and Municipality on a weekly basis, the Government proceeds to adopt and implement specific local measures for the Regional Units of Zakynthos and Hania, which have moved to red Covid-19 threat level (level 4) due to increased epidemiological load (+69% for Zakynthos and +54% for Hania on a weekly basis).
Specifically, from Friday 6 August at 06:00 in the morning, the following will apply:
–A new overnight curfew, between the hours of 1 am and 6 am, except for work and health-related reasons.
–A round-the-clock music ban across all food and drink outlets.
The measures will remain in force until Friday 13 August and will be re-evaluated by the Commission next week. Also, both in these areas and nationwide, it is prohibited to hold any form of event with a physical presence of more than twenty (20) people in a private, non-professional venue. In case of violation, the administrative fine ranges from EUR 50,000 to 200,000 for the lessee or lessor of the private, non-professional venue where the event took place or is taking place.
