The chalet at the base of the Vora-Kaimaktsalan ski resort opens today, inaugurating the new 2021-22 ski season.
The chalet, located at an altitude of 2050 meters, will welcome visitors during the current week, until Sunday 31 October, daily from 9.00 to 16.00 and from Saturday 6 November every weekend until the opening of the ski centre.
It should be noted that only fully vaccinated guests will be allowed to enter the chalet, provided that they are checked via the special smartphone app and present a valid ID.
Non-vaccinated guests can order, pay, collect their order and be served by our staff outside the chalet.
The Public Properties Company, manager of the Ski Centre, strictly observes in all its Business Units the protocols foreseen for pandemic protection, both indoors and among its staff.
The route
Through an enchanting route, either from Edessa and Agios Athanasios or from Aridaia and the Pozar Baths, lovers of autumn excursions can easily reach the highest ski resort in Greece and enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Vegoritida, the mountains of Northern Greece, with Mount Olympus standing out imposingly, as well as the plain of Pella in the distance, all the way to Thessaloniki.
Also, if it snows, they will be able to enjoy the first snows and the white powdery, serene landscape.
