Greek Health Minister Thanos Plevris announced the relaxation of measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus.
As announced by the Minister of Health, proof of vaccination and recovery will no longer be required from 1 May to 31 October. This measure will be reviewed on 1 September. The Minister went on to say that the presentation of European certificates upon entering the country will be reviewed in the upcoming period.
As announced, students will return to school after Easter without having to take a self-test. From 01/05/22 unvaccinated citizens should take one rapid test per week to access their workplaces. From 01/05 to 08/31 all venues resume to 100% operation. Until 31/05/22 mask use remains mandatory indoors.
As stated by the Minister of Health, from 15 April the €100 fine for unvaccinated citizens over 60 years old is suspended.
